Heaven welcomed home one of its angel’s, Catherine “Kiki” M. Dusseau, 92 of Temperance, Michigan, and formerly of Erie, MI, died Monday, February 3, 2014,  in Aspen Grove Assisted Living.  Born, July 20, 1921 in Erie, MI, she was the daughter of LeRoy and Lucille (Cousino) LaPointe.  She married Carl Dusseau on January 18, 1947.  He preceded her in death on September 18, 2005.  Kiki, a devout Catholic, was a homemaker, hairdresser and also worked  as a factory worker during WWII. She was a member of the Erie V.F.W., 3925, Ladies Auxiliary and Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Catholic Church in Temperance, MI.   She enjoyed playing cards, traveling, bingo, golf, music, and is now dancing in heaven with her beloved sister, Betty.

Children, Deborah Floyd of Erie, Douglas (Lindy) Dusseau of Morenci, MI, Joan (Michael) Simon of Sylvania, OH, Dean (Katherine) Dusseau of Ottawa Lake, MI, Susan (David) Toepfer of Toledo, Mark (Nancy) Dusseau of Temperance, Peggy (Daniel) Dusseau of Erie, and John (Courtney) Dusseau of Macomb, MI. Sisters, Mary Dusseau and Jean Denko, 23 grandchildren and many great grandchildren.  Catherine was also preceded in death by a sister, Betty Dusseau, son-in-law, Victor Floyd and great granddaughter, Alle Nicole Simon.

Visitation will be from 3-8 pm on Wednesday, February 5, 2014, at the Michael W. Pawlak Funeral Home, 1640 Smith Rd., Temperance, MI, where the VFW 3925, Ladies Auxiliary will hold services at 7:00 pm.  Mass of Christian Burial will be Friday, February 7, 2014, at 11:00 am at Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Catholic Church, 8330 Lewis Avenue, Temperance, MI, where she will lie in state after 10:00 am. Interment will follow at St. Joseph Cemetery, Erie, MI.  There will be no visitation on Thursday. Memorials may be made to LMS Direct Research or Promedica Hospice.  www.pawlakfuneralhome.com
